As we move through November—a month centered on reflection and gratitude—we find ourselves especially thankful for the incredible people and organizations we’ve had the privilege to serve this year. Gratitude is at the heart of what we do. Every grant we write and every mission we help move forward is rooted in one central purpose: helping others create lasting change.

Thankful for the Opportunity to Serve
When we began this work, our goal was simple—to use our skills to help nonprofits access the funding they need to make their missions a reality. Years later, that motivation hasn’t changed. If anything, it has deepened. Gratitude is central to everything we do.
Each proposal we write is more than words on a page—it’s a reflection of the trust that organizations place in us to represent their purpose, their people, and their passion. We are profoundly grateful for that trust and for the continued opportunity to partner with changemakers who are making communities stronger across the United States.
Celebrating Our Shared Successes
This year, we’ve had the privilege of working with approximately 50 organizations, submitting around 375 grant applications, and securing $9.5 million in funding so far. These numbers represent more than just dollars and data—they represent programs launched, people served, and futures changed.
But we also know that grant work takes patience. Many federal grant decisions have been delayed this year due to shifts in government processes, and we’re still awaiting word on several significant applications. Foundation grants can also take time, with average response windows ranging from six months to a full year. While that waiting period can be challenging, it’s part of the long game of grant development—one that ultimately pays off through sustained impact.
Spotlight on the Friends of the Fort Worth Herd
Among this year’s many highlights, one partnership stands out: helping the Friends of the Fort Worth Herd secure their first three grants ever.
Winning that first grant is no small feat—it often represents years of groundwork, vision, and persistence. For the Friends of the Fort Worth Herd, these wins will help preserve an essential piece of Texas history and culture. This organization provides critical support to the Fort Worth Herd, the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive featuring authentic Texas longhorns and drovers dressed in period attire. The Herd doesn’t just entertain—it educates. Through immersive programs, visitors of all ages learn about ranching, agriculture, and the history that shaped Fort Worth.
As Fort Worth undergoes one of its largest revitalization projects, the Friends of the Fort Worth Herd are ensuring that the city’s roots remain visible and celebrated. Their work preserves cultural heritage, supports tourism, and fosters agricultural literacy for the next generation. We are honored to have played a part in advancing that mission this year.
A Heartfelt Thank You
As we look toward the end of the year, we are filled with gratitude—for our clients, for the nonprofits that trust us with their vision, and for the communities that benefit from their work. The impact of every grant goes far beyond the written proposal; it transforms lives, preserves legacies, and strengthens the fabric of our communities.
To all the nonprofits we’ve worked with—and those we have yet to meet—thank you. Thank you for the tireless work you do every day, for your dedication to making the world better, and for trusting us to be part of your journey. We are honored to walk alongside you in this work and look forward to another year of growth, partnership, and purpose.
