Celebrating success: Millionaire Grant Lady and Associates raised more than $8.2 million in grant funding in 2023

The landscape of philanthropy is always changing. Foundations change funding priorities and funding strategies. Grant applications get longer and more complex. Maintaining meaningful communication with donors can be difficult to keep up throughout the year.

Without an experienced grant partner, it can be hard for nonprofits to navigate this shifting scene and connect to the dollars they need to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing society today. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to hire a grant writer to tackle these tasks. Nor is it always the best fit. Read our article to learn more.

In 2023, we had the honor of partnering with many unique nonprofits who are doing powerful, mission-driven work to positively impact their communities. We measure our success by the funding we achieve for these nonprofits. Each year, we work to earn more funding for more organizations so they can do more of the work that really matters for more people.

In 2023, we raised an impressive $8.2 million for nonprofits that make a difference. Our success in 2023 stands as a testament to our dedication to our partner organizations.

Each day, we use our experience and expertise to tell our nonprofits’ stories, connect them to best-fit foundations, and win them vital dollars so they can keep the lights on, fund staff positions, make capital purchases, and support program expenses. From addressing homelessness to promoting STEM education, each dollar raised represents a step toward building a brighter future for everyone.

Here are some big wins from 2023:

  1. Winning Federal Grants
  2. Addressing Homelessness
  3. Promoting Healthcare
  4. Investing in Children
  5. More Funding for More Mission-Driven Work

Winning Federal Grants

At Millionaire Grant Lady and Associates, we have experience with every aspect of fundraising, including winning federal grants.

Federal grant applications can often be a much more intense process than private foundation grant applications. Federal grants frequently require nonprofits to study more than 30 pages of application instructions, prepare more than 20 pages of written material, create multiple attachments to satisfy federal grant requirements, and comply with other time-consuming requests.

While the application process can be daunting, the reward is often significant funding that sustains and expands your organization. In 2023, we won multiple federal grants for our nonprofit partners, including a $1.5 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. This was just one of many federal grants we have won for our nonprofits.

Addressing Homelessness

Millionaire Grant Lady and Associates won $2.9 million in funding for the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition. The Tarrant County Homeless Coalition (TCHC) has been leading the community solution to homelessness since 1989. They envision a future where everyone has a place to call home. This multi-million dollar funding will support TCHC in providing vital support and resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, offering them hope and stability in their time of need.

We also helped Arlington Life Shelter win $380,000 in grant funding. Arlington Life Shelter envisions a community where all individuals, families, and children affected by homelessness have access to the services and support necessary to restore ability and achieve personalized success. This grant funding will help them provide services and support so that more people who are experiencing homelessness can achieve their goals.

Promoting Healthcare

Healthcare is a cornerstone of well-being. In 2023, we rasied more than $700,000 for the JPS Health Network. JPS serves the needs of the families in Tarrant County, working to improve health status and access to healthcare. They offer acute care, outpatient care, psychiatric services, and a mom-and-baby program.

This vital grant funding will support their efforts to enhance medical services and improve access to quality care for all members of the community. Want to learn more about how funding supported JPS’s mission? Read our article here.

Investing in Children

Many of the organizations we work with support youth in various ways. Our nonprofit partners connect children to health resources, improve education for children, protect children from abuse, and provide children with mental health resources. This work strengthens children and their families so they can achieve their goals and dreams.

One organization we work with that focuses on children’s needs is Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center. Their mission is to promote the healing of child abuse victims—one child at a time. In 2023, we won $200,000 for their important work. This funding will allow them to continue to provide life-changing services for many vulnerable children.

In 2023, we also partnered with the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center (NAEC) to raise more than $300,000 in grant funds for their one-of-a-kind science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) program. The mission of NAEC is to Honor the Past, Empower the Future. This grant funding will help them bring history alive for more children in North Texas. Together, we have demonstrated the incredible impact that can be achieved when we work towards a common goal. We look forward to taking what we have learned from 2023 and using this knowledge and experience to create more wins for our nonprofit partners in 2024.
