Millionaire Grant Lady Presents at Fort Worth Association of Fundraising Professionals April Meeting

Millionaire Grant Lady is honored and excited to have been asked to present to one of the largest Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Chapters in the country here in Fort Worth!

Do you have an active cultivation strategy in place for private philanthropic foundations? If not, you definitely should!

For both stewardship and prospecting, cultivation is a win-win! We know it to be a critical component to growing grant funding year over year. Done well and consistently, your cultivation strategy can turn previous declines into current funders.

Join me on April 12th to learn how to customize these key components of a winning cultivation strategy:

  • Identify which foundations you need to keep in touch with – look at both current and prospective funders
  • Research to understand the foundation’s potential angle of interest in your program
  • Calendar consistent communication touch points
  • Avoid propaganda and self-promotion
  • Ensure your communications are customized to their interests and provide some education value

The most important part of a foundation cultivation plan is implementing it consistently. We help many organizations who don’t have the bandwidth internally to do this successfully. Conversations are free…just give us a call!

“Persistence Pays Off”

The Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center found success in growing their mission to help more child abuse victims using Millionaire Grant Lady & Assoc’s  Core Cultivation™ services. Like most nonprofits, their hard-working staff didn’t have the bandwidth to keep in touch with foundations multiple times per year.

We developed and implemented a cultivation strategy for them. In our second year, they received new grants from 2 new funders – including one that literally told them: “Persistence pays off!”

Then, after the second year of this cultivation strategy, the grant amount from one of these funders doubled!
